WHAT IS KEY CLUB?
"caring, our way of life"-

In May of 1925, the first ever Key Club was chartered at Sacramento High School with the help and guidance of local Kiwanians. Members who were involved were recognized as "key leaders" in their community, and the club adopted that title. Later, Key club would become an acronym for "Kiwanis Educating Youth." While Key Club offers unique experiences to each member, it will always be lead by students who are dedicated to benefitting the welfare of their community and the world.
OBJECTIVES
Key Club aims to cooperate with school principals and teachers to provide high school students with invaluable experience in living and working together and to prepare them for useful citizenship. Our members develop initiative and leadership skills by serving their schools and communities.
